Lee and I started at secondary school in the same class. I felt an immediate affinity to Lee from the start. He was quiet and sensitive and never said a bad word about anyone. I remember his first day at secondary school was highlighted by his new set of pencils, embossed with the letters "Lee Rogers Redberth". We never forgot which village he grew up in! Lee never seemed to need a jumper or jacket. Even on the depths of the Tenby winter (ok it's not that bad) he would walk around just in a shirt. I think think his five tangerines a day must have been the secret to offsetting the cold as we were thrown out in the playground every break time. Over those years on school we were good friends and supported each other. With Richard, Nick and Daniel we often hung out together, mostly invading Richard's parents house in Saundersfoot. I have very fond memories of spending time with Lee in school but since I moved abroad we lost touch. I was deeply saddened to hear about his passing. I can't remember how he got the nickname 'Rocky' but this world has lost a fighter with a kind heart and a wonderful soul.
